Growing Lombardy
It started with a leap - from a small urban garden to 5 acres of windswept paddock on a hill in regional Victoria. We traded footpaths for clay soil and rock. We planted an orchard, a vegetable patch, then a few rows of Sweet Peas, Ranunculus and Poppies.
Hands in the dirt, sun on our backs. We worked with the seasons, and watched life slowly return to this land: frogs, butterflies, lizards and birds. What began as hard work became something deeper - a sense of peace, purpose and connection.
Now, we grow flowers to share that feeling - beauty grown with care, seasonal, local and full of life - so you can feel a little closer to nature, too.
